We want you to get the very best experience with iFlipz and have pulled together a useful guide which explains the best way to prepare your PDF for iFlipz to get the best possible results.

Where possible create your PDF using Adobe Acrobat ® 

These are our basic guidelines. If you need any help formatting your PDF we offer a graphic design service to amend / update your PDF (or original artwork), although please note: this is a chargeable service based upon the time involved in preparing your PDF for you. Please contact us if you need any further advice or would like a quote to create / update your PDF. 

• All pages should be merged into one file
• Your PDF should be presented as cropped single pages. Whilst we can 'split' double page spreads the results can be unpredictable. 
• Remove all crop marks
• All pages must be in the same orientation - in either in Portrait or Landscape
• All pages should be in the correct order. If you need help re-ordering pages for you our graphic design team can help with this (fees apply)
• Do not include security settings
• Avoid text as images. Only use "real" text (FONTS) so your iFlipz looks sharp even on zoom and can be found by search engines
• Embed ALL fonts in your publication - Use fonts that are installed on your system AND are permitted to be embedded
• Merge all layers and flatten all transparencies
• Delete clipping paths when possible to avoid white ghost lines in your actual PDF, as these can show upon conversion
• Do not embed scripts, media (video/audio) or buttons. We can add these for you during the process of creating your iFlipz. Please note this is a chargeable service. 
• PDF Comments will NOT be shown after upload
• 500MB maximum file size
• Number of pages allowed per PDF conversion is based on Account type:  Starter = 50; Pro = 100; Enterprise = 200
• iFlipz automatically converts embedded hyperlinks within your document when these are correctly tagged within your source document. To create the hyperlinks within your original document you need to use the specific Link Tool.
• Avoid low quality images by saving to at least 200 dpi resolution
• We do not recommend binding multiple PDF files into one PDF file.
